The His a registered student organization at University of Washington in Seattle.
What are the goals of the project?
We will be working to:
But what does the project do?
Homeschool Admissions Day - Each spring we offer Homeschool Admissions Day, a workshop for Junior and Senior homeschooled students on planning and applying for college.
Homeschoolers at UW Scholarship - We offer a $1000 scholarship to a formerly homeschooled students at UW.
If you have any questions, please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we would love to help you. We've also emailed with homeschooled high schoolers about high school planning and transcripts, college applications, and scholarships.
How can I get involved?
If you are a former homeschooler who is a student at University of Washington, we would love for you to join! You can be involved to whatever extent you are comfortable, whether you co-lead an event, help read scholarship essays, find donations for the scholarship, participate in a student panel, help out at events, or just join our Facebook group.
If you are a parent of a former homeschooler, please send them a link to this website! We would also welcome any feedback on the website or the project overall. If you are interested in donating to the Homeschoolers at UW Scholarship, you can do so here.
If you are a currently homeschooling parent and are interested in finding out about meeting with a member of the Homeschool Advocacy Project about transcripts, college applications, or scholarships, please email us at email@example.com. If you'd like to contribute to the Homeschoolers at UW Scholarship, you can do so here.
If you are a UW student, faculty/staff, or community member who would like to learn more about homeschooling or about our project, please contact us as well!
Anyone who is interested in this cause is encouraged to become a site member. We also welcome ideas for what else would be helpful to the homeschooling community.
